  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I work quite often with a company based in the Netherlands. I've had the privilege to work on 3 of their biggest projects as the composer and sound designer. Amazing people and very passionate about their work. Simply inspiring.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Both. They are tools to enhance the main idea, there's no reason for restricting yourself. Experiment! :)

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: Work until we get what they're looking for

  12. A: Learning from the projects and the people behind them.

  14. A: Can you deliver it by tomorrow night? Probably but just keep in mind that quality requires time.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: Let's use an analogy for this one: I can't give you a piece of freshly baked bread if you gave me a toasted slice.

  18. A: Ideas for the project, references, if there's a tight deadline and of course, budget.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Check out their previous work and contact them to see if you feel comfortable with their vision and workflow.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I've been working in the audio industry for 10 years. I started as a roadie for rock/pop/funk bands and then moved to FOH, then moved to studio mixing and sound design. Music composition has been always part of my life so, I decided to focus on that a bit more.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: I like to perceive sound as a whole entity, and I'm quite aware of its power, hence, I try to understand the needs of each project and work hard to deliver the best possible outcome

  28. A: Ólafur Arnalds He's my spirit animal :)

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Spend more time on the orchestration/composition and you'll spend less time on the mix

  32. A: Music for film and advertising Orchestral/Hybrid scores

  36. A: Whatever is needed

  38. A: Understanding the needs of the project. Checking some references (art can be quite broad) Start working on it Delivering the first mix Working on revisions if needed

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I've been travelling a lot for the past 2-3 years so, I try to keep it as minimal and easy-to-travel-with as possible. Daws: Pro Tools and Logic. Software: Soundtoys, Slate Digital and waves Hardware: Yamaha HS8, Genelec 8010, IK Multimedia iLoud, Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro, Audiotechnica M50

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: This list would be a whole Thesis about people who inspire me. I think it's easier to describe what inspires me the most: hard work, perseverance, fresh ideas, delicate sounds, and dedication.

  44. A: Sound design/mix for advertising, apps, motion graphics, animation, short films and documentaries. Music for visual media Mixing music and film music
