Dejan Williams has been performing music on the saxophone for over 15 years. As a child, he fell in love with the instrument and led large bands with his solos. Raised in Southern, Maryland, he graduated from Suitland High School for the Performing Arts, and later attended Bowie State University. In 2013 he started a band, “Just Us, Just Listen” which successfully put out 2 albums of Contemporary Jazz. In 2017 the band went their separate ways.
Now at the height of his solo career, Dejan is working on the production of his Gospel album. He has performed at many historic venues from the Kennedy Center to Washington, D.C.’s own, Blues Alley. Dejan’s scheduled is booked with gigs at clubs, weddings, parties, proposals, and more. He also teaches saxophone lessons every week. When asked where he sees himself in 10 years Dejan said “I am living my dream as a Professional Saxophonist and Lesson’s Instructor, I want to take my talents international and continue to share my gift with the world”.
