So, I am one of those with perfect pitch.
Hi! I am Andreas, and I am 23! As a drummer, i can write drum lines for nearly any genre of music. (I am more familiar with prog/metal/rock ones and I do not prefer jazz/reggae). I also can program(NOT mix or master, just program) drum lines(I use REAPER)! In the future I will be available for recordings! Also, if you are in Greece, don't be afraid to call me for a session!
Also, having perfect pitch, combined with theory and harmony lessons I've took, i can transcribe any track you want to sheet music, in almost any instrument! All the sheet music work is done on Guitar Pro, and exported to an mp3 track and pdf also.

Interview with Andreas Kalogeras
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I had piano lessons an age of 10 for 2 years. Then I began playing drums on my own at 16 and i recently got a certificate for drumming from Lab Music Education, a music school here in Athens. I have been playing in bands(most of them metal) since the age of 17 and i also am a session drummer and have recorded tracks for other bands. Also, I have transcribed sheet music for concerts for piano, violin, viola, guitar, saxophone, vocals, bass and trumpet.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Trancribing some sheet music for saxophone for a concert at Perdika, Thesprotia, Greece at 18th of August. The genre is greek music, what we call here as "Entechno".
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Drummer only, no music production idea, sorry ^_^
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: Fast service (and quality of course). In the case of transcribing, ultra fast service :)
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Everything. From writing, to recording, to transcribing. Okay i like recording a bit more because with recordings you also get a better player.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: "How quick can you trancribe having perfect pitch"? My answer is, more than 5 times faster. "laughs"(Depending on how complex it is, but you get the idea)
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I think it is a bit unpopular for a drummer to transcribe sheet music, I guess?
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: First, i ask them when they want the job done. Then, during the process, i am always in contact with the client and if he wants, i send him samples for feedback, in orded to get him a better result.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: When it is about transcribing sheet music, i only need the track for transcription. For drum programming, what i should need is a description of how someone wants to feel the groove, or quote a song or drum track which looks alike it.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Kick, Snare, Hihat, Pedal and a Floor tom
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Sometimes busy, sometimes quick, always musical.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: My dream is to work with Leprous(drums ^_^ ) Baard is my next big inspiration on drums after Mike Portnoy.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be Creative and try to be original and have your own signature on your music :)
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Any type, preferably prog, pop or greek music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Perfect Pitch.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Power, Groove, Crisp.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: In transcribing, i just listen to the song and write down the piece in sheet music. In drumming, for the time being I only compose them on Guitar Pro and program them on Reaper. In the future, I will be able to record also.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I do not have any studio yet :)
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: The classics like Metallica, etc., and the modern prog scene(Leprous, Tesseract etc.). Also, I am very inspired by blues artists like B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I trancribe songs for nearly any instruments(My last works include transcribing saxophone, cello and violin) to sheet music. Also, i write and program drums.
