Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I was co-composer on the score for 'Big Pacific' a 5 part documentary series for Discovery/PBS in the USA. Most fun i've had yet as a composer - epic!

A: A few documentary scores, an album production, a game and a few shampoo commercials for Asia :)

A: I've been a songwriter and producer of some kind since around 15 - full time professional for last 15 years or so.

A: Almost every style you can imagine - I tend to gravitate as a singer towards pop, electronica, world, blues, acoustic singer/songwriter vibes. But I have literally worked on every style you can name - opera, death metal, k-pop, choral...

A: Singing, followed by lyrics I'd say.

A: 30+ years in the music business - 1000s of songs written and published, a lot of passion, heart & soul.

A: Get brief, record, mix and send back to client! Also talk to cat, walk to beach, have another cup of tea :)
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a purpose built music studio in my house near the beach in Auckland - it's fully treated and is loaded with great gear and a very beautiful Kawai piano.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Too many to mention! But those that are living their dream and making music that they love with good people in interesting places.

A: I regularly sing lead, backing harmonies and ad libs on artist and band productions in the studio in person or online all around the world. I also write and produce music for tv / film / games most days of the week.
