Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I'm new here but when i'll find someone i will!
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Is a track called ''Baby'' i produced and mastered it and the sound was clean like amazing. I also directed the video and did a verse on the song. You can check it out on Youtube under Three Kings - Baby
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: On my own group called Full Squad and on my Solo EP. And i'm working with some different artists such as Junior Avi, Ness who are local talents but have great potential.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Oeff Tough! I can't Choose!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: You get what you paid for and so much more!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It doesn't feel like a job because i love this, it's in my blood it's my passion my first love!
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: They ask me if i could tune there vocals or get the mix like an artist they like. And my reaction is what's your mail address? I send some examples! Let my work speak for its self.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: If your looking for an allrounder hire me!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Headphones Cellphone,Mp3 player, portable microphone or something to record myself but then again if the battery is low you still can do... haha so Headphones,Cellphone,Mp3 player,Laptop,Microphone.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: i started with remixing tracks when i was about 12 years i'm 29 years old now so do the math i started with Madtracker/Fasttracker then i start doing vocal recording with Goldwave in a Combination with Madtracker and then eventually i start making beats in FL Studio and i fell in love! Now i can work with Logic,FL Studio,Garageband,Mixcraft you name it. But I like working in FL Studio and prefer to record my vocals in Mixcraft and for live sessions so not the digital part of music i record my drums and everything in Mixcraft.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: allrounder!
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Ryan leslie he is also a multitalent so that would be crazy in the studio!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Follow your dreams, let nobody tells you that you can't do it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hiphop,Zouk,Dancehall & Reggea tracks but i can make everything that i hear.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Rapping,Producing, songwriting & Coaching artists.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Flavour.... because i am a allrounder so i have different styles and flavours. Usually artists or producers are focust on just one style i have many styles and flavours i can bring to the table.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Producing the beat then write the lyrics but.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have professional Homestudio Compact but nice to work in. 2 mackies 1 usb mic (Samson) and the rest is a secret!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Ryan Leslie,Scotch Storch,Dr.Dre,Timbaland,2pac,Biggie,Eazy-E,Big Pun and the list goes on and on.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Helping them with there song Producing wise or writing wise. Mixing the vocals mastering the vocals. Make a total package of it. From beat to vocals no problem. And if they allready have a beat i record the vocals or help them with there lyrics. Everything is possible.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That they think that i'm only an producer or rapper but i'm so much more.
