Hey, I'm George a London based producer/songwriter who goes by the pseudonym Brando Walker check out my Spotify here: https://open.spotify.com/artist/03MvpSltNkvQq6hw93xVHQ Past clients include: Universal, RCA, Decca, Warner Chappell, as well as brands such as Fiorucci, Sephora, and Fujifilm to name a few. Im also a mixing and mastering engineer.
Who am I?
I started my career in the mid-2000s recording indie bands in different studios around the UK, but by the end of the decade, I decided to turn my attention to making more soulful records. I have a love for all pop music but I would say soulful R&B is where I tend to get the bulk of my work. I continue to work closely with labels such as RCA, Decca, Universal and have close connections to some of the best Jazz musicians in the country (I used to own a studio in Soho so am in touch with them on a daily basis) so if you need horns etc I can help.
How I work.
I am an extremely fast worker and pride myself on wasting as little time as possible while maintaining the attention to detail that high-quality tracks/products need. I can work remotely or you are more than welcome to join me in the studio so we can work together face to face I really don't mind.
My usual turnaround on projects is between 1-3 days depending on the project and my availability, that includes 10 track revisions (but am willing to extend this within reason).
I am a fun-loving guy who is working in the industry he loves, and just wants to work with like-minded people and create some bloody good music!
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you think we would work well together I work with artists big and small if you're up for making some interesting I'm in!

Brando is an outstanding producer! Loved working with him and I’ll definitely come back for the future projects. Not only it was very professional but I had a fun, productive day. Brando made my song sound so incredible it was beyond my expectations. Would give more stars but I can only give 5 😅

Great Performer, easy and fast communication, absolutely Pro. Also perfect recording quality. A pleasure to work with.
Brando is extremely talented at what he does (which is basically everything) and an absolute delight to work with! He’s always bringing the most creative ideas to the table and making my songs have such an edge. The first time I went to the studio it felt like I’d worked with him before, he really knows how to bounce off people’s energy and just create the most dynamic tunes. Would recommend him to anyone! Whether you’re a beginner or more advanced in the game, he can definitely provide what you need.
Brando really captured my vision for my upcoming single "Can't Provide" which he produced fully and mixed. When I was observing how he went about starting a project from scratch, I was completely amazed at the intricacy, creativity and attention to Minor details he showed, and he is so humble about what he can do as a producer/singer-songwriter. Once I realized his strong ability I immediately thought everything I put into this was worth it and couldn't wait to get back in the studio with him. He is really an asset to the music industry and young artists like myself.
Interview with Brando Walker
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I absolutely love analog gear, I used to have a studio in Soho with lot of amazing fun toys. But as of 2020 I have decided to go full digital, because I believe that is where the unique sounds lie, and it's super convenient. As one of the best mixing engineers (Andrew Scheps) says, "There’s a little bit of a myth about all analogue things being better than all digital things. Well, that’s not a little myth; that’s a gigantic myth. And it is completely a myth." and since converting to digital I can confirm he is right and it works for me. Analog is fun but not necessary any more.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Soulful and catchy.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Don't sweat the small stuff.

A: I work in Logic Pro
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is in South London. I use the same philosophy as some of the greats like Oak Felder and Andrew Scheps. My setup is mostly "in the box" which means it is super portable so I can take pretty much take all of my gear with me super easily when travelling around the world for studio sessions.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Oak Felder, Fred Again, Mark Ronson, Prince, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, J Dilla,
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I help artists realise their Ideas or demos, and help turn them into Radio-Ready tracks.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: "He's a producer" I'm much more than that. ;)
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be openminded music is a collaborative process.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been working professionally in the music industry since 2006.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My versatility & also my ear for a hook.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I like to think I bring a fresh soulful vibe to tracks that are lacking in that human element but still keep that radio-ready sound all artists require.
