Music Production/Mix/Master

Mike has worked in and for various recording studios across North America and the UK for the past 10 years. He is a mix/mastering engineer, producer, and session musician based out of Toronto Canada.

Mike Tompa has over 20 years of musical experience stretching over a wide variety of styles and instruments. From performing in multiple function groups, orchestras, jazz bands, rock/metal bands and many more, he has the experience and knowledge to help bring your creations to life. Mike moved to the United Kingdom to work at one of Britian’s elite rock studios. Landing on the doorstep of Outhouse Studios (www.outhousestudios.co.uk), located in Reading UK. After spending a couple of years at Outhouse as a permanent staff member producing, and engineering, he moved back to Canada and is now head engineer/producer at Merriam Studios in Oakville, as well as a freelance mixing and mastering engineer around North America. Mike has experience recording, mixing and mastering everything from Jazz ensembles, to singer-songwriters, to full on metal bands. He also freelances as a session guitarist, bassist, violinist, and double bassist.
