Zach Carlson a.k.a. Famous Friend is an ASCAP award-winning Los Angeles-based writer/producer/mixer. Zach has worked w artists such as Winnetka Bowling League, Casket Cassette, Nashon, and Alle the Dreamer as well as scoring the Emmy-Nominated Netflix show Alexa & Katie. Zach also has a successful indie solo project called Famous Friend.
As an artist myself I got tired of industry "pro" mix/mastering engineers who have no idea what they're doing and terrible taste charging huge fees for something I could just learn myself. Fast forward 10 years later and I constantly get hit up by other artists asking who's producing/mixing/mastering my songs. So I'm setting some low rates and looking to help out artists and bands in the post punk, dream pop, shoegaze, surf rock scene give their songs the mix they always dreamed of without having to bang their head into the wall for a month.
