Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: My film Strange Magic that was produced and released by Disney. I worked on it for 4 years! I got to go to Skywalker Ranch, and meet George Lucas who wrote the original script! It was a once in a lifetime experience and I got to sing so many amazing songs!

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Lap top, mic, monitor headphones, midi keyboard, interface!

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I started performing professionally at the age of 7 in musical theatre productions. At the age of 11 I was Annie in the Annie National Tour for a year! I continued doing musical theatre through highschool then started writing and recording with friends at different studios. In 2020 I graduated from the ICON Collective school of music where I learned Ableton and audio engineering.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Add harmonies! Something super simple can sound like a million bucks with just a few harmonies panned left and right!

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Pop, Dance, and all types of EDM.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I bring a really unique vocal tone that is very refreshing and pure sounding. My lyrical material is from an honest and vunerable perspective. I have lots of thoughts and feelings which make it easy for my to come up with material. :)

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I like to write music and lyrics together as one, but if im having a hard time being inspired i will write the melody first. Then I record and edit in Ableton, and any additional production i will do in Ableton.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I have several mics that I like to rotate depending on the job. I work in Ableton, and use an Apollo interface.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: Daft Punk, UK Garage, Jhene Aiko, Pink Pantheress, Doechi, Kehlani, Sylvia Massey

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: BOTH! Sometimes you want something cruncy, sometimes more refined!

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: That topline writing isn't as difficult as producing.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What is your inspiration for a song or project? What is your dream venue for your song to be played or your film/show to be shown? What sort of feeling to you want your audience to feel when they listen or watch the project?

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: Be really familiar with the sound quality of my voice. People hire me for my specific quality not to emmulate other voices. Of course guiding me to certain sounds or qualities that you like are helpful, but remember at the end of the day it will be me singing for you.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Whimisical, etheral, curious. Dreamy.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: I would love to work with the producer Oakestra. He has such a soulful funky writing style and has written so many of my most favorite songs.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: Singing! Professionally trained since the age of 7!

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Writing and recording toplines with lots of harmonies. Voiceovers for podcasts, animation, commercials, and docuseries.
