Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: What vibe do you want from this track. Similar songs or artists.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: Pop, country, indie, r&b, love acoustic music also.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: I take a concept from the artist or come up with one on my own, get my acoustic guitar going to get some chords, then start humming a melody. After that hit record, then start writing lyrics. My best songs are always ones where the melody comes to me immediately. I then send the client the lyrics and also a vocal guide over my acoustic guitar on how it should be sung.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I can smash out a hit song for you anywhere I am in the world, just give me my guitar and my fingers.

A: Songwriter/topliner in the pop/country/indie/r&b realm.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: Seeing someone cry in front of me the first time ever hearing a song I did.

A: I love writing to acoustic only, such raw power in it. Doing it now.

A: Both, raw and quick.

A: I'll give you the depths of my emotions and splatter it on the lyric sheet.

A: Freedom, creativity, bringing raw emotions out of people that hear it.

A: What should be style be? Search within...then search some more...don't ever imitate....be your own.

A: That I can only do one style of music.

A: Check out some of my demo songs, send me a message with a reference track and let me know what vibe you're going for and we go from there.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Let it sit for a day. No matter how brilliant you think your work was. Let is sit for a day and come back to it, you'll either be pleasantly surprised, or think to yourself, "what the hell was that" lol.

A: Being able to come up with lyrics and a melody the first time I hear a beat.
