I was blown away with the string arrangement Yas wrote for me! She goes all out on her productions and you can tell that she's a seasoned vet. It amazes me that this website gives us access to such talented musicians as Yasmeen!

I've worked with Yasmeen for over seven years and she is undoubtedly one of the most talented people I know. She comes from a classical background and it shows in her focus and professionalism, whether it's in the studio or in a live performance. Yas is a pro. She composed, arranged, recorded, and produced an entire 12 layer string section in my single “Sing Myself to Sleep”. She elevated the track and did incredible work in a very efficient amount of time...

Yasmeen is one of the most talented string arrangers/players I’ve worked with. She played on and helped arrange multiple parts for 4 songs on my most recent record. I would usually send Yas a voice memo simply describing my vision/feel for the song and she’d interpret it into a legitimate string arrangement very quickly. Always open to notes, too, even when I didn’t have the best vocabulary for explaining what I envisioned. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking tryna make their songs more beautiful :)

Yasmeen was so dope to work with. I had a custom project that didn’t exactly fit into her offerings and she worked with me on a fair rate and turned everything around within 24 hours. In addition to being a virtuoso violinist, she’s also a songwriter and producer and gets how to record herself, so everything came back super easy to integrate into my tracks. She’s gonna be the violinist I always call now - and I’m looking forward to seeing what other ways we can collaborate!

Yasmeen is one of my favorite violinists and musical minds. It's different working with her than it is with most other string players because of her ability to write and improvise. You don't need to spoon-feed her everything. There are some kinds of open-ended instructions I write specifically for her, because I wouldn't rely on anybody else to know what to do with them. It's especially rare to meet a player who can improvise like she does and who can also SERIOUSLY play in tune (like the legit classical musician she is). Plus she records and mixes herself beautifully... hire her!

I'd give her 10/5 if I could! I've hired Yasmeen for countless studio projects and live performances. She is my go-to violinist for pretty much every project and I can't say enough wonderful things about her playing. Her sight-reading and improv skills are both spectacular; whether it be something simpler in 4/4 or something complex in 7/8, she'll bring your song to life and truly make it "sound better". She shows her passion and emotion in her playing and anyone listening can tell she's the cream of the crop--she is the highest caliber of session violinist. Hire Yas, you won't regret it. :)
