I was the Production Manager for Musical Content for the Software Dept. at Yamaha Corp. of America for 25 years. Initially, we hired Joel as an editor, but soon realized his talents/skill sets went far beyond this singular job. Besides becoming the head editor and in charge of Quality Control, Joel became one of our top content providers, arrangers and performers. Some of the name performer projects Joel produced or edited include Elton John, Michael McDonald, Ray Charles and Peter Nero.
For 25 yrs., Joel’s enthusiasm and dedication to our projects was second to none!

Joel worked in the Content Development Department as an artist, Engineer and Editor. He worked on many special projects including the Elton John Red Piano Show in Las Vegas. He is extremely musical and precise.

Joel is an amazing producer, composer, and arranger. I have known him for 25 years and his standard of excellence is second to none! Joel's sound and productions are always top notch and his command of the artistic and technical aspects of the production process is extraordinary. He has a natural musicianship that is a rarity nowadays. He is also highly advanced in the area of electronic music and MIDI editing. I have personally worked with Joel on many projects and he has been a great mentor and colleague, especially in our work with Yamaha Corporation.

Having worked with many great composers, arrangers, performers and producers, I can say -- for sure -- Joel is a five start talent in every area. His songs are so well produced they almost mix themselves (don't tell him I said that). When changes are needed he gives me clear comments in a very supportive way and I'm delighted to make the improvements he asks for. If I had a project of my own, I would definitely ask Joel for his help.
