Endorse BABYBOYBLUEA Highly Recommendation.
Whenever Liam is involved in a project, you will absolutely feel all the energy that he has to offer. In a production setting, Liam took simple melodies and built stages around them. He is a student and teacher of the craft; able to communicate well while also being open to direction. An energetic engineer who's attention to detail pairs with a genuine appreciation for recording and the art of it. 5/5
Listen - Liam is an absolute wizard with music production and I never ever want him to forget it. Right off the bat he took the time to get to know me a bit and established the feeling that I was definitely with good peeps, and my music in good hands. With very little words to start, he had completely read my mind on the mood, colors, and overall vibe of the song, which was super helpful since I had a difficult time explaining what I was hearing in my own head. He also gassed me up from beginning to end and I didn't realize how essential that was. Don't hesitate - book him for your next bop.
Liam is the absolute BEST at capturing the sound you want. He sits with you and gets to know you, super charming guy, then he gets down to buisness and wants to hear what YOU want. This man has a god tier ear Ill tell you that right now. We worked on my first single ever and it was my first time working with a producer, he made me feel comfortable and also made sure that every detail that I want isnt left out. I highly reccomend Liam for anyone that is interested in having their music produced ESPECIALLY first timers.
I've worked with Liam on a couple of tracks, and he's got a magical engineering ear that can really take your track to the next level. I've learned so much from him over the years and his work ethic and endless creativity really reflect in his work. As a mixing engineer, he really doesn't rest until the track is something he is vibing with, which makes for an amazing collaboration every time. Love what we've worked on together and I'm excited to work with him a bunch more in the future.
Liam changed the way I saw music creation forever! He’s not only an amazing producer, mixer, and artist, but is kind, communicative and very understanding. He works fast and always gets back to you to get your ideas and opinions before moving on with the next step. Liam is SO creative (COMES UP WITH THE CRAZIEST THINGS I’VE EVER HEARD), and knows what the f*** he’s doin!! The attention to detail, the care he puts into everything he does, and the intricacies of his projects. Not playing around, hit him up for serious business!!!
BABYBOYBLUE has done the mix and master for multiple tracks of mine and I'm always enthralled by his work. He takes my tracks to the next level! Plus he's super communicative, professional, and thorough with getting the sound you want. Would definitely recommend working with him
I had such an amazing experience with Liam. One of my best friends recommended him to me. He was encouraging, thorough, and super communicative throughout the process of mixing my single. He gave me the ultimate word on what I wanted with my song, but gave me his opinions throughout the process. I really can't wait to work with him again.
Working with Liam was a dream! Through his mixing (and a generous master!), he elevated my track. I'm appreciative of his ear, but especially of his enthusiasm and communication skills. He was also both fast AND thorough in his process. I'd recommend him to anyone working with a mixer for the first time.
Liam produced one of my songs back in May. The best part about him is his energy, commitment, and excitement for your project. That to me is priceless. He also turned the song into a bop and still think its the best music me and band ever put out. So this is the guy.
Liam mastered one of my singles and was 1) super fast AND efficient with the production and 2) was very communicative which i really respected and admired. He asked me for song references and notes I had and checked up on me to make sure it still held my vision (which I think is super important as an artist’s work should remain authentic to them). Absolutely cannot wait to see how far he will go!
I've had three masters and one mix done by BABYBOYBLUE and he has blown me away every time with his work. His diverse knowledge of genres and welcoming attitude is what drew me to work with him. I know I can always rely on him not only to deliver the top notch quality but to be friendly, professional, and encouraging of me as an artist and fellow producer and engineer
Interview with BABYBOYBLUE
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Purple by Rachel Bochner and my original Flintstones. Purple was born in a very natural music writing moment that felt very god given as well as showed the whole team the potential we all have. Flintstones had the same feelings and is currently in a TV show!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: HYBRID! Solely digital sounds too clean, Analog adds the vibe. Nice blends!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I love how my job is to constantly help new artists chase a dream that we both share. My job has the potential to change peoples lives, from the artist themselves to their audience.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Hire someone who will always have YOU and your end goals as the priority. Having a person on your team like this is priceless and always gives you an ROI.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Hard-Drive, Computer, Midi Controller, Mic, Guitar.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been producing/mixing for 8 years. I started producing for bands and singer songwriters locally. Once more artists started to brand themselves on the internet, I switched over to producing for artists all across the world. Since then I have built my business to be mainly internet based to help emerging artists every day.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Never rush. Take your time but also have the discipline to know when to stop and start releasing.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I typically work in the Indie Pop space but have experience in a plethora of genres stemming from Bands making Punk/Rock music to Hip Hop/Trap artists.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is always aiming to get the artists vision out into a recording. A lot of producers/mix engineers these days tend to take over the project with only THEIR best interest in mind. With me, my end goal is to always make the artist happy and make their ideas a reality.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: If I am producing the song, the artist and I talk about their prepared demo. We discuss the influences and ideas/vibes we want to achieve from the final product. We either work separately or together via ZOOM to build the song around the demo. We continue picking at it until we achieve the sound the artist loves. If I am mixing the song, I would first get all the stems from the artist. If needed, I'll send them over to my assistants for vocal editing/tuning. Once I get the whole session together, I mix the song being a nice blend between a conservative balance and artistic balance. After I send over mix 1, the artist and I go through a revision period either through a noted document or a zoom meeting. Once we are happy with the mix, it gets sent to whoever is mastering the track whether that be myself or a third party mastering service.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Artists typically hire me as their mixing engineer and or their producer for their songs.
