Your vision is my biggest guideline. I want you to be happy with your sound. I want you to share it with everyone and make the listeners fall in love with your music. I want you to be proud of anything you create. You can achieve this state of mind with 8 (!) revisions that I offer.
Iskanda is a sound engineering provider that strives to do its best so you can bring your vision into life.
I know it looks a bit dodgy. The price is too cheap. Many revisions. Too good to be true? Well, welcome to a dream. Just for $120, you can achieve the greatest treat to the soundtrack of your inner world (I mean your music ;) )
Me and my fellow engineers specialise in Hip-Hop, EDM & R&B.

Interview with Iskanda
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: We don’t just change the levels and put those compressors, delays etc. We create new worlds and dimensions.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: If you don’t mind, we can speak about your music vision and plans for a career. I personally would love to step into your shoes and it’s actually quite easy for me. We work on the same thing, maximizing the creativity and changing the cultural landscape. It’s absolutely necessary to ask what type of artists are inspiring you. It’s great to know what type of sound you want to achieve.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Our founder, Iskander, has been in this game since he was inexperienced, hungry 14 years old wanting to learn as much as possible about music-making. At the time, he was enrolled in a music school in Russia playing flute and piano. My best friends were Mozart and Bach but Iskander wanted something cooler. Cubase was his choice. Days and nights, Iskander was honing his craft. Making beats, melodies.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: We strive to make our mixes elegant and full of passion. We are the Bugatti of sound engineering.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: The most interesting part of our work is working with artists that are really passionate about their music. You guys are the best!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always have someone to give you feedback. It’s a great way to stay the course even when you’re stuck with this instrument, chord or kick.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: We usually work on music such as trap and hip hop and dance. We believe that those genres are very interchangeable (think garage and grime). However, we have engineers that specialize in dance and engineers that specialize in hip hop. So you’ll never get a mix-mash sound like the one made by “universal soldiers” of sound engineering.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: We bring a heap of our professional experience, skills, creative expertise and your music’s genre awareness. Don’t really know how you want your song to sound? You’re still in the right place. We’ll listen closely to the sound of your favourite artists and turn our imagination to the full so your life changes after the first draft mix.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: First, we want to establish a creative connection with you, so we are on the same page musically and feeling the same vibe. We might have a phone chat or meet in person. Too busy to have a profound conversation about the music? No problem. Fill out the one-minute form we send you, upload the track and we are ready to go. After we have the first version ready, send us your feedback. We are like the music-making software that you can control with your voice and that makes everything sound amazing :)
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: We are very much inspired by famous artist-producer relationships such as Drake & 40, Quincy Jones & Michael Jackson and many many more. We want to give you the comfort and efficiency of those relationships. We want to combine your creative imagination with our professionalism.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: We find the best sound engineers for you and your project. Our mission is to enhance your possibilities by effective communication between your vision and engineer’s experience. As a result, you get the unique radio-ready sound.
