Sam Da Grouch is an American born music producer/beat maker. Originally born a Detroit, Michigan native. He is now a resident of Fort Lauderdale, Fl. He is best known for his own style of hip-hop flavored beats/music production. Working with artist from across the globe.
Since 2009 Sam Da Grouch has taken his style of beat making to many different levels and genres, Rap, Trap, Hip-Hop, R&B, and even EDM. Staying true to his company’s motto, “you never what’s going to come out the room”. He has worked with many artist across the globe from USA, UK, Africa, & Canada. He has studied and has been influenced by hip-hop producers such as DJ Premiere, Dr. Dre, Zhao-Ski, Massiah Da God, Alchemist, 9th Wonder, Kanye West, Heat Makers, Shorty Red &, Zaytoven. But most notably his favorite is Detroits own J Dilla. “I just love the way he uses all elements. His skills are unmatched”

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Production for some Wu Affiliates also Cristo Adventures in Grouchland (this will be a classic)
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always split the snare and Hi-hat to open up the air pocket gor the artist.
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Grumpy Old Man E P. With Maddog McGraw the reception it recieved is on-going. I did production for the whole project.

A: Good Quality Headphones, An Apple computer, FL studio, a keyboard, and a great editing program. Also a microphone.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Originally I set out as a EmCee but I landed on production. Been at it seriously since 2009

A: Traditional Hop with a New sound twist
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Nas, Elzhi, Jay Z... I believe it would be easy for me to go into a zone sonically with them and create some classic material.
