Kyle McCammon on SoundBetter

I'm a songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles. I can help bring your ideas to life and love to focus on creating a world around an entire project. I have the ability to take something from just a spark to a competitive recording.

Born and raised in northern New Jersey, music has taken Kyle around the world. He attended Prins Claus Conservatory in Groningen, The Netherlands before transferring to the New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City. His writing, productions and playing have been featured on Conan, The Fosters, BoJack Horseman, CW’s Charmed, MTV’s Are You the One and Fox’s hit show, The Masked Singer.

As a member of the duo, Lean, Kyle’s writing and producing has seen play listing success from Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Apple’s A-List Alternative. Their track ‘Hurt a Little’ was included in the French tastemaker Kitsune’s America 5 compilation and two of their other songs we’re featured on their HotStream playlist. The duo has received critical acclaim from outlets such as KCRW, BuzzBands LA, Nylon, Indie Shuffle, and Paste.

Kyle has performed with the likes of Sam Dew, Doe Paoro, Banks, Barns Courtney, Ron Pope and The Little Death (w/ Moby), among many others. He toured extensively as a bassist, playing keys and MD’ing a wide range of artists. A few artists that Kyle has written and produced for include Jenny Owen Youngs, Somme, Laces, Ron Pope, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Georgia Hurd and Zach Berkman.
