I believe that you can’t fake soul, either you got it or you don’t. I only work with people who’ve got soul; whether it’s through your music or who you are as a person. I studied Audio Engineering in college at Temple University, and have been engineering for 5+ years now. I’ve worked at multiple studios across Philly, and I currently run my own.
What's good and groovy, I'm an award-winning audio engineer and producer. I graduated from Temple University in 2018, majoring in Media Studies and Production with a concentration in audio engineering. My passion for music began at age 12 once I began playing guitar. Since then, I've played over a hundred shows, and engineered hundreds of sessions. My love for all things audio led me to choose the audio engineering track at Temple, and thereI studied under and worked with highly skilled professionals, including multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning audio engineers. I was awarded the Best Music Production Award by Temple University’s Klein College in May of 2017, as well as the Gregory Caiola Award in 2018 for my exceptional performance with Bell Tower Music (Temple University’s record label).
As far as what I can do for you, I'm offering mixing, mastering, production, and guitar services. My clients often tell me the first mix sounds done, even though I assure them I can push the song even further so that our sounds combine to create the best sounding piece of music you've ever had. I'm always on time or ahead of schedule, so if you need your music done in a timely manner I'm your guy.

Interview with BLVCKSOUL MUSIC
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Zen by Derrick Ju'wan because it was my first time really doing every level of production for a client. And the end result was exactly what he wanted plus some so to be able to put so much in and get so much out it really meant a lot for me, and everyone involved.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Tytewriter, Ben Thomas
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Definitely a combination of the two. I grew up with digital everything basically so my knowledge of that domain is pretty sturdy. Analog calls to my soul in a different way, it's really useful in breathing life into a track or recording, honestly I love it!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I'll enhance your sound and bring you closer to your dreams.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I'm a music nerd so hearing all different types of music and being able to literally make something that will live on forever is really exciting for me.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I press a couple of buttons and poof, a finished song appears!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Musicality, and a soulful ear. I'm a stickler for sound and I'm very good at finding the exact sound I hear.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: UAD Apollo Solo
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Prince, Jimi Hendrix, The Ohio Players, Parliament Funkadelic, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Sade, Guns 'N Roses, Taylor McFerrin, Metro Boomin', Kendrick Lamar, MixedbyAli, Kesha Lee, Tytewriter
