If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
Computer, monitors, midi keyboard, guitar, and a microphone! What more do you need?!
What's your typical work process?
I try to work as closely with the client as possible. I try to give them everything they want from their music, so I like to stay co-operative throughout and allow for revisions, so they are fully satisfied with my work.
Tell us about your studio setup.
I'm running a purely digital setup, with a very large collection of plugins going through Logic Pro X.
What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
Andy Wallace is my main inspiration when it comes to mastering, the man is a genius!
Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
I master client's mixes. I take a mix and make it sound perfect by removing the nasty parts, and enhancing all the good stuff!
What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
Mastering is something that has always interested me. I've been doing it for just over 3 years now, and to date have only mastered my own band's music. I'm happy with the results, and would like to share my talents on your music.
How would you describe your style?
I like to make songs sound as polished and perfect as possible, but at the same time meet all the needs of the client.
What do you bring to a song?
I can make your song sound exactly how you like. I will master your song, and leave you with a piece of work that you are very proud of, and that sounds so good that people will want to buy it!
