Serenity West Recording is a haven for recording artists, writers and producers featuring two stunning rooms for both ends of the creative spectrum. Studio A is the ideal environment for tracking and mixing featuring; a state-of-the-art 80 channel SSL 9000J console and a full array of vintage outboard gear and microphones.

Serenity West Recording is located in the historic 5540 Hollywood Building. Built in 1921, it was one of the original buildings on Hollywood Blvd and has been home to the biggest stars in music and film over many decade. It has housed movie studios, soundstages, high powered entertainment executives and was the second home the classic hollywood recording studio Music Grinder (1989 - 2004) after they left their original location on Melrose. The Grinder, like Serenity was home to the biggest stars of the day and recorded records for everyone from Bonine Raitt to Hanson. Owner Gary Skardina and company built the original studios here with a lot of love, they have endured through earthquakes, windstorms and countless sessions. In 2005 Serenity took over continuing 5540's Hollywood legacy.
