Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I was proud to work on Dave East's debut album Survival. Being that it was his first album and he was an artist I admired, it was my pleasure to be apart of his legacy. I was the recording and mixing engineer for his record Everyday ft. Gunna.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm working on recording, producing and mixing records for artists such as: Busta Rhymes, Famous Dex, Dave East, Gunna, Lil Tjay, and Bay Swag.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will take your sound to the next level that separates you from your competition, ultimately allowing you to compete with industry elites.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I would tell the customer to ensure that everything in their project sounds exactly the way they intended it to, and do not rely on a mix to fix anything unless there are no other options left.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style is focused on deep low-end, crystal clear highs, and upfront vocals, which create a huge mix. I shape any production which applies to have those characteristics.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Select great samples whenever producing music, and try to record your vocals in a well-treated room/space with good gain-staging.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip-Hop, RnB, Trap, Pop, Dancehall and Afrobeat.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring clarity, punch, and width to all of my mixes with no exceptions. Instrumentals that my clients request for me to mix all have hard hitting drums (unless client asks to do otherwise), and their vocals sit well in the mix.
