I have 7 years in the industry as a songwriter/vocalist/guitarist for myself and other artists. I've toured all over the US, in the Philippines etc. I wrote and performed songs that were featured on MTV, VH1 as well as various TV commercials. Currently working on my next album! Outside of music I am an actress and recent UCLA grad in economics.
I'm looking to collaborate with as many people as possible as a songwriter, lyricist, top liner, singer, or guitarist to continue to hone my craft. I would love to get out of my comfort zone and try different styles of music, of playing, and of writing.

Interview with Cheska
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like having fun. For me, writing a song is expressing what you feel at the exact moment you're writing. It's all about trusting your instincts when you hum out melodies or throw out random words and then elaborating on the little ideas that really draw your focus. I don't like forcing lyrics into a melodic box or trying to be overly poetic. My approach is very conversational; I try to make people understand the message quickly and be able to sing the chorus by the second play.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: my acoustic guitar, my green prs, a tuner, extra strings, extra picks
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: pop, pop rock, and in a past life, pop punk
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I've been told it's "happy sounding songs with sad undertones"
