High-quality and industry competitive Recording, Mixing, Production, and Mastering from Audio Engineer Spencer "SpenDenn" Dennis. I do whatever it takes to make sure that your project is completed in a timely fashion with professionalism and attention to detail. I work tirelessly until you are ready to share your music with the world!
My main goal is to help clients achieve the vision that they are looking for on their records! Trusting someone else with your music can be scary but I assure you that it's all worth it and that I will do whatever it takes to make your project a success.
I have been producing, recording, mixing, and masterings audio for over 7 years in the greater Philadelphia area and recently made the move to New York City. These days, I work with major label artists in one of Manhattan's most reputable recording studios. Throughout my time producing and engineering, I have had the opportunity to work on projects in a variety of genres and found my calling in pop and hip-hop music! Though I mainly focus on "top 40", my skills translate to all genres and I am ready to help out with whatever you are working on!
My setup for audio work is Hybrid meaning that I use both outboard hardware and industry-standard plugins. For mixing, I mostly use Pro Tools and for production, I use Ableton 10, however, I am proficient in Logic Pro X as well. My go-to, top of the line, plug-ins include products from Waves, UAD, Celemony Melodyne, Antares Auto-Tune, Fab-Filter, iZotope, and more. I also have access to several sets of great monitors and headphones to ensure your project sounds great on all speakers.

Interview with Spencer "SpenDenn" Dennis
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Artists: Pop Smoke, ROSALIA, Quinn XCII Engineers: Jaycen Joshua, Lu Diaz, Marcella Araica Producers: Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Mike Dean
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: These days I mainly record vocals and mix/master hip-hop projects. I also specialize in mixing/mastering all "top 40" genres
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Always do what is best for the song/project while honoring the client's requests.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Don't let money be the thing that gets in the way of your musical project being shared with the world. In most cases, if you trust the service provider, you will get good results.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Are your prices negotiable? Short answer - Yes! My prices are usually my average rate for a particular project, but the price can vary based on the size and complexity of the work you need to be done.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I get happy when I get to help people finish their projects and share their work with the world!
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I promise to remain professional and work tirelessly until you are satisfied.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Simple - BOTH. Because both formats bring things to the table and both have drawbacks. There's nothing like running a tube mic through a Neve preamp and sending it to an analog compressor and hearing the results right away, but in the age of digital, there are so many benefits to being in the box. It's important to be flexible.
