Great, comprehensive orchestrations at a good price!
I've worked with Amit on a short animated movie I directed.
When I first came across Amit's work I knew he is the only one who can do what I had visioned for this project. I was so lucky to have him on board and willing to contribute his talent. besides being so amazing at his work, Amit is a wonderful person to work with, he is open to Ideas, flexible and extremely generous.
and overall what really shocked me was the quality that he was able to produce to make my film sound like a Disney movie!
I Worked with Amit on my documentary films (broadcast worldwide) and always came back... Great work! Amit is gifted organized and gave me the opportunity to transfer all my dreams and thoughts into the soundtrack and made it happen. Thanks Amit!
Iv'e worked with Amit Poznanaski in several film and TV projects.
Gifted composer, professional, delivers high production value scores, reliable and passionate to his creation and most of all - to the director's vision.
Amit Poznansky is a gifted composer and a consummate professional.
A major challenge with my short fantasy film was to create an engaging, epic "Hollywood" score. Crucially, my budget did not allow for recording a full orchestra.
Using only his studio tech (and considerable talents), Amit crafted a great score which really elevated our film. He remained patient AND passionate during the long, draining postproduction process.
An ego-free collaborator who places the good of the entire project above any personal creative interests, Amit is someone with whom I would work again in a heartbeat.
Interview with Amit Poznansky
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I mostly compose and arrange original scores. Mainly for film & TV series, but also for stage and concert music. I also do arrangements for new compositions written by my clients.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Composition, Arrangement, Orchestration, Piano.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mainly Classical, Film Scores, Jazz / Big-Band / Fusion.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My own compositions are influenced by the Neo-Classical writing style. My film scores derived from the traditional film scoring, mixed with contemporary elements when necessary.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I've started my career as a classical pianist. I spent 15 years as a pianist / orchestrator in the Israeli repertoire theaters, and worked on numerous stage productions. In 2010 my career changed and I've started working on film and TV projects. My debut project was the feature film "Footnote" which I composed for a symphonic score. The film was an Oscar nominee for Best Foreign Film in 2012. Luckily, this project opened doors and scoring for film has become my main work.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be specific as possible in what you are looking for, and please explain in detail. Also, I am always open to listen to existing music references, it helps a lot when a customer share them with me.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: It is most important for me that my clients will be happy and satisfied with the results. I will always listen and make revisions if needed, until they'e content.
