I’ve worked with Akira on several projects and he’s very focused, committed, fun, and easy to work with. He sees a project the whole way through and provides insightful ideas and feedback. He’s very generous, kind, and just an overall great person. With his keen gift and sensibility for creating emotionally evoking compositions, any project Akira works on will surely have professional results.

Akira is a consummate professional who brings an incredibly unique set of skills to the table, especially the terrifyingly uncanny blend of jazz and avant-garde stylings he brings to his horror soundtracks. His calm and attentive demeanor can put even the most neurotic director at ease, and he's always backed it up with phenomenal guitar and compositional skills that simply WORK for the scenes.
