I'm a freelance audio/mix engineer and musician from the UK. I have spent the past few years interning and working at numerous studios in and around Liverpool in order to learn, practice, and gain audio engineering/mixing experience. I am a freelance audio engineer/mixer and musician based in the UK.
I have spent a few years interning and working at numerous studios in and around Liverpool. I have worked on tracks that have had large indie and major label releases and have gained worldwide airplay.
I currently specialise in mixing guitar based music (indie, rock, etc.). I work completely 'in-the-box' (no hardware equipment) so recalling sessions is simple and offering mix revisions is no issue at all. I use Logic Pro X and a wide selection of plugins and effects from a variety of companies (Soundtoys, iZotope, Kush, Valhalla, Waves, etc.).
Please get in touch to discuss the specific details of your project.
Thanks for looking and I look forward to speaking and hopefully working with you soon!

Interview with Harry Chalmers
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I currently mix completely 'in the box' using Logic Pro X and a wide variety of third party plugins, this enables me to instantly recall sessions, to work on multiple songs at one time, and to offer revisions quickly and efficiently.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am very much inspired producers and artists that will commit to and accentuate unusual and uncommon mixing styles. Producers like Tchad Blake, Sylvia Massy, Gabe Roth, Dave Fridmann, Chris Cohen, George Martin have all produced work that sounds accomplished yet unconventional, they are more than willing to choose the 'unsafe' option when it is appropriate for the song.
