  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Yes, Leeloo is a great singer and have been working in this platform for a few years now

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: My promise to my clients is to deliver professionally recorded guitar tracks tailored to their vision, with clear communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to enhancing their project with creativity and precision.

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: It's my lifetime passion

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: If it's possible to lower the price for a project, I usually do so for first-time clients

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: In addition to being a guitarist, I’m also a songwriter and producer, actively involved in composing and crafting music across various projects, including my band BADxl and cinematic endeavors like the soundtrack for 9 Olas.

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: Usually, what influences inspired the song, reference tracks and what style of guitar playing is the client looking for.

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: It's always helpful to bring some reference tracks so we can have a clear idea of sound, style, techniques necessary to achieve the client's goals

  19. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  20. A: Both, whatever works.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  28. A: Prince, would of been amazing to be playing next to one of the geniuses of our time, also the grooviest!

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Always ensure that the guitar parts you record complement the full mix—avoid spending too much time listening to them in isolation. Remember, what sounds impressive on its own might not blend well with the track. Also, be mindful of excessive bass; a clean, balanced tone is key, and EQ is your best tool to achieve it.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: My main three styles I usually work on are Pop-Rock, Funk, and Jazz

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: The ability to understand an artist vision fairly quickly as I'm well versed in different styles and music cultures

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Carefully crafted guitar parts, with the right groove, touch and sound design.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I enjoy working closely with my clients to discuss ideas and preferences for the project at hand. Understanding what inspired them to create their song and their main influences helps me align with their vision. Once I have that context, I open a new session in my DAW and begin brainstorming, exploring ideas to find what fits best for the project. From there, I record the most suitable parts, carefully selecting the right tones and textures, and then send the final recording to the client for their review.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: My studio is designed to deliver top-tier guitar recordings with an efficient workflow. I use an Apollo Twin X as my primary interface, ensuring pristine audio quality. For electric guitar—and often for various other instruments—I rely on the Kemper Profiler for versatile, authentic tones. Additionally, I have a range of other high-quality tools, including the UA Dream, UA Lion, Neural DSP plugins, and the Line 6 HX Effects for added sonic flexibility. For analog enthusiasts, my setup features a vintage Fender Bassman '66 and a Fender Blues Junior, both routed through the Universal Audio OX for precise sound capture and control.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: There are too many to mention all of them but maybe Prince, Radiohead, U2, Pat Metheny, Led Zeppelin...

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: As a professional guitarist, I am highly active both in live performances and studio work. On stage, I often serve as a sideman for a variety of projects, frequently stepping in as a substitute. This requires me to be adept at quickly learning new repertoires and delivering performances that capture the essence of each part. In my studio, my focus is on recording guitar tracks for clients, collaborating closely with them to discover and craft parts that enhance and elevate their songs to the next level.
