I enjoyed working with SoundHabits Studios. I had an album of 9 songs and am somewhat picky with my preferences, but he was very accommodating and addressed each of my change request with patience.

I am extremely pleased with the work Oscar and SoundHabits have done for me and my music. The level of expertise and talent he bring to the mixing process is truly remarkable. My songs have surpassed all expectations and sound far superior to anything I could have imagined. What I appreciate most is that Oscar always respects my demo version as a starting point, incorporating my original vision into the final product. His dedication and skill have undoubtedly elevated my music to new heights.

  2. A: We will get there!

  3. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  4. A: Mpc keys, my Dutch & Dutch 8c’s, a Strat, my macbook, and an antelope audio interface.

  5. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  9. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  10. A: That Mastering can make a bad mix good.

  11. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  12. A: Commit! Don’t leave every decision open. It will only make for an inconsistent end product.

  13. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  14. A: I just relocated and upgraded speakers to the Dutch & Dutch 8c to improve my mastering, and mixing. I work in a hybrid system. Digital and analog summing. All depending on the music.

  15. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  16. A: Dave Cobb! Great mixers and Mastering engineers like, Chris Gehringer, Michael Brauer, Manny Marroquin and Tom Elmhirst. Great songs!

  26. A: I've done almost everything, but I would say, Pop, Country, Americana/folk, Hip Hop and Jazz/Blues.

  27. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  28. A: Both. Depending on the song.

  29. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  35. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  37. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  38. A: To get the vocals to pop out, and low end.
