Hi, my name is Chris Watson.
I am a Music Producer and Mastering Engineer based in London, UK.
My music has been played and supported by Martin Garrix, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1 Xtra, Kiss FM and Exa FM. I have had several record deals including being signed to New State Music (Paul Oakenfold, Dirty Vegas), Helium Records (Sam Brookes, One Sixth of Tommy) and a distribution agreement with AWAL/Kobalt Music (The Weeknd, Marshmello, Paul McCartney).
I started my career in 2014 with the track ‘Make The Crowd Go’, the song went viral, achieving over 1.5 million streams online with only 5 pounds (around 7 US Dollars) spent on promotion.
I currently produce and write for many artists around the world, recently producing the latest releases for popular YouTubers German Garmendia and Lenay whose songs have gone on to achieve over 9 million streams independently.
I am very passionate about my work and I do everything I can to create great music.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I think the biggest misconception about some producers is that they will try and take over the creative process and change the artist's vision too much. It is my ethos and fundamental belief that the artist's satisfaction with their work is the number one priority in any situation. That is a producers job. To cater for their client's or the artist's every need and desire.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My first absolutely essential piece of gear would be my MacBook Pro. It is the hub of everything I do and, aside from it's real life cost, it is invaluable to me!
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Often I can be found composing, producing, mixing and mastering for artists in the world of pop and electronic music.
