I wrote a song that has been featured on TLC for the show "Seeking Sister Wife". I also wrote and produced a 6 song EP that landed my band a tour around Canada with 80+ shows in 5 different provinces.
I am a singer-songwriter/producer who is passionate about making songs from scratch. I love the process of taking an abstract idea and turning them into concrete songs that move your emotions. My ultimate goal for every project is to have the listener connect with the song emotionally, and give them a sense of hope in a world full of chaos.

Endorse Rasec MarcI reached out to Rasec when I was about to propose to my then-girlfriend-now-wife because I knew that he could compose the perfect song that will encapsulate our moment. I put my trust in him for this special, once in a lifetime occasion, and he did not disappoint. In fact, I was so satisfied with the outcome that I asked him to do the same thing for our wedding. The two songs he made were very different; it speaks to how much thought he put into each creation, and how deeply he listened when I explained what I was looking for.

https://youtu.be/AEBVwOTP-VARasec created a music track for a skincare commercial I produced and I was impressed by the quality of the song. I highly recommend working with him or at least checking out his work!
Me and Rasec Marc had a wonderful and very productive collaboration. He's a talented producer who is able not only to follow your directions, but also uncover your hidden potential by sharing his vision. Experimenting and recording a song part over and over again-that's the style he works with. Rasec is hard-working and driven artist. Despite the fact that my track was very far from what he creates, very different by style, genre and structure, he adjusted his vision and we were able to get it done just the way I wanted. Rasec is your guy if you need a professional and quick postproduction.
Rasec wrote an instrumental for my YouTube channel! I absolutely love it. I will be adding it to my new videos soon! I can’t wait to have such a beautiful piece that is so unique and only mine for my channel. Thank you, Rasec! You’re so talented.
Interview with Rasec Marc
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on a single for my own brand and grow a fanbase from there.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Numa music
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The process!
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What emotions do you want to convey? What is the story behind this idea? What do you want other people to feel?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: To be transparent with what they want and tell me all details they want in their project. Communication is very important.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: I would take the guitar, piano, microphone, interface and laptop so I could write songs and sing my heart out. I would record as many songs as possible and I would die happy knowing that these songs will make their way to inspire someone when my body gets found.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have released 2 EPs and several singles under my name. All of them I wrote and produced. I have played in a lot of venues in LA and also went on tour in Canada for 5 months. I have been writing since I was 11 and I am still writing for other people until now. I have been doing music professionally for 5 years now.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I portray emotion through rhythm and groove. The "bounce" that we get when listening to a track is what I gravitate to the most.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Ryan Tedder from Onerepublic. I look up to his songwriting a lot and he is the reason why I took the leap of faith and am now doing music full time. It is so fulfilling.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Layering! Taking two sounds and making them work together to form one idea makes it more powerful and still give space for other instruments to breathe.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Pop, pop / rock
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Music production. I know what to add to the track to make it full yet subtle to not take away the spotlight.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Authenticity.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Their own artistic approach to a project. I can not think of all ideas and see all different angles and that is why other musicians who put their own artistic fingerprint inspires me.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I take their song ideas and turn them into fully produced tracks that convey emotion and authenticity.
