I love to get the most out of your project. But ! Without losing its soul. I`m a purist. In Recording and Mixing , I try to get the most out of the Song / Project , without bringing to much taste of mine into it, so I could keep the original idea of the Artist, but adding or bringing up its strength ! I`m an Recording Studio owner (Electric Soul Studios est.2011) a Recording / Mixing and Mastering Artist and Music Producer. Also I'm an active musician , playing Guitar, Bass and Drums , Singing & writing my own Music. My Band is called Earthgaze. Its an Alternative Rock music Project.

Mixing/Recording GEAR: API 2500+, Solid State Logic The Bus+, Solid State Logic G Bus Compressor - IGS Audio Tubecore Vari Mu Mastering Compressor , DBX 166 Dual Mono Compressor, Neve - Heritage Audio - Warm Audio - SSL and SPL Pre Amps.

Some Guitar Amps and Cabs , Bass Amps and Cabs, Drumset, Cymbals, Some cool Snare Drums etc are also always ready to be used in my studio for recording.

  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: A good punchy, warm & silky tube-sound

  3. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  4. A: I don't know , sometimes im not very patient , but that depends on so many factors hahaha !

  5. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  6. A: SSL G-4000 E - Gretsch Catalina Club Drumset - Mesa Boogie Mark 5 - Hopf Saturn Guitar - Höfner Bass

  7. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  8. A: Foo Fighters and Led Zeppelin I like the music and artists ! They have a very nice sound !

  9. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  10. A: Don`t sit to long on a mix. Usually it should be finished in 3 to 5 hours.

  11. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  12. A: A good Fantasy - a very musical background (I am an active artist too, writing my own music with my band Earthgaze) I play Guitar , Bass and Drums. I am a Singer and Songwriter. So I have quite a lot experience of how it is to be an artist, to rehearse , to perform etc. Thats very important to understand the clients wishes and visions

  13. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  14. A: . I try to figure out its strength.. Its emotional message

  15. Q: What's your typical work process?

  16. A: Depends on the work to do. Recording for example is a complex process , first I meet my clients , listening to them in Rehearsal (if possible) So I could get an Idea , what sound they need , what mics in need to use etc ! Mixing: Listening to the clients Roughmix, to get an Idea , to understand the clients vision ! Then I start with the project, I guess after 30 minutes , i have a basic set up for each track, then after typically 3-5 hours the first version of the Song is finished !

  20. A: Warren Huart , Butch Vig , Dave Grohl , John Lennon , Paul McCartney

  21. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  22. A: It was a Band from Sweden , we created a vintage Sound. used only vintage equipment. Only 5 Mics for the Drums etc. It was a very nice project. We've worked for 13 Days on it. I loved it. I was the creative producer and recording engineer.

  23. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  24. A: An Alternative Rock Band

  28. A: Both , both have their special attributes. I guess a mixture is the ideal of both worlds

  30. A: The creativeness , you hear what you've done !

  32. A: Do you have autotune , yes , sad but true

  34. A: What kind of artist are you ? Do you want to be a professional ?

  36. A: Be sure what you want from me, if you want to record with me , be prepared , work own your tracks in the rehearsal room with your bandmates. being prepared is essential for a good recording. If you want a good mix from me , give me an Idea with a rough mix !
