I am a professional music producer and engineer with 6+ years of experience from endless genres of music. My creative expertise has been sought out by those who have even flown me across the country to work. Some of these people include Hertz, Clif Bar, Arcteryx, and SkyHi.
Better known as Shaun P, I am a professional who has been working in the industry for 6+ years. I have a wide range of production and mixing capabilities from rock and hip hop, all the way to video games and flim. I am extremely passionate about music and put my all in to everything I do with you. When you finish a project with me, you will not only be satisfied with the work that we put in, but we will have a new bond and friendship with each other that will last a lifetime. I take heavy pride in my work, and wont settle for mediocrity. I have been blessed to be in many rooms with the likes of amazing artists such as Cory Henry, Jacob Collier, and Macy Gray. I have also worked with brands on commercial work in which I have traveled across the country and beyond. Some of the brands I have worked with are All Saints, Hertz, Clif Bar, Lunar Bar, and Polaroid. Even though I have experience, I never stop learning. I constantly evolve and grow to make sure that only the best is created. I can not wait to work on your next project and show you what we can do together!

Interview with Shaun Principato
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Possible project with Adidas shhhh
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, there are things you really can't yet replicate with digital that analog can do and there are things you can't replicate through analog that you can do with digital.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: Watching the music come alive and become something more than I even knew.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That this work is easy or that you need to go to college to be considered "Professional"
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure you click with me on an inner level besides just you like my music. We can make the best work that way
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been doing this for around 6 years. I kind of fell in to this work and fell in love.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: My style can't really be defined. It's all inspired by the moment and the artist
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Pharrell and Chance The Rapper. They are some of my biggest inspirations
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Remember that we as producers are producing not just a song but a feeling. If there's no feeling, there's no song.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Bouncing back tenfold from a mistake or a lesson
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: my own unique twists to typical genres. I have a habit of adding odd sounds and not-so typical ideas to projects that make the song stand out without taking away from the center of attention, the artist.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I am like a straw with my process. I let the creativity flow through me without letting my ego get wrapped up in it. I usually get inspired by the client and try to custom tailor the music so that it fits the individual.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Ever changing. I work in different studios. I do have a home set up that I use often with three sets of studio monitors, a MacBook, and every top notch music software you can think of. I have my trusty Axiom MIDI Keyboard and Native Instruments Maschine for all of my digital programming needs as well as a simple Scarlett with a studio mic to record vocals and organic instruments.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, and Timbaland. They inspired me so much to do this
