Endorse Andrew LanceVery patient and amazing to work with. Fast turnaround time, definitely working with him again.
Andrew was a pleasure to work with and super responsive. I'd work with him again for sure!
Great engineer, always gives great advice for my projects. Always cares about the project as much as I do and that’s something that keeps me coming back to work with him. Highly recommended.
Andrew has done multiple custom soundtracks for my personal digital animations. I bring him a project with an idea I have in mind, and he not only brings that idea to life, but better than imagined. He’s thorough in the process, gives great recommendations on improving my project, and is easy to communicate with.
I highly recommend Andrew for all your needs such as recordings, beats, mixing etc etc. He is always ready to go in the studio & get some work done. Never slacks off during time & is always making sure I like how my sound is coming out. He provides water to make sure my vocals are staying fresh instead of a raspy and tense sound. He gets the songs to me , finished, within usually 1-2 weeks. He’s always trying to make you do your best & sound as good as possible.
Interview with Andrew Lance
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: How much work is actually done. Clients that sit in during their Mixing Session are always impressed by the speed and amount of tedious work that is done. Once they've sat in they usually have more respect for the engineers that handle their tracks.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure you are really happy with your song and vocal takes. Sometimes I get clients realizing they didn't have enough energy or the right tone for their vocals once the mix is already done.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I think a combination of both is great. I love and use both. Some things you just can't emulate using digital software and vice versa.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: Self taught Engineer, gained experience and knowledge from some studios and mentors along the way. I've been an audio engineer for about 10 years now.

Q: What's your typical work process?
A: This varies from track to track, but my main focus is listening and bringing out the main features of the track.
