If you're a singer-songwriter working on your new music, I would love to help you take it to the next level! Your songs are an extension of who you are and need to be treated with the upmost care. After all the time you spent writing and creating, it just makes sense to bring someone in who shares your vision for the songs! That's where I come in!
My name is Alex, and I am an audio engineer available for mixing and mastering specializing in singer-songwriter bands! I love to take a song from a raw idea and help develop it into a finished product that can stand out in today's crowded music scene. I'm not the kind of engineer to push my own ego or sound onto your project, your music needs to sound like you! My whole goal is to help you make your songs be the best they can possibly be, whatever that means to your specific project.
If you are in the Kansas City area, I am also available for recording work at my studio The Triceratops Room. It's a cozy environment filled up with all the gear you could need to make a record, from vintage goodies like 1950's/60's Gretsch drums and original Neumann U87's to more modern standards like Millennia mic pres and a Taylor 812, even some boutique gear from Requisite and Wunder Audio.
I have a strong musical background in percussion, guitar, and music theory. I strive to give my clients the sound they have always wanted, and won't call a project "complete" until everyone loves the results!
