KEVIN SOHN on SoundBetter

Kevin Sohn is a music producer and live performer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. His creations are lavish with a colorful touch and groovy sounds. He is a spontaneous composer who has approached his career creating bass driven tracks and soulful melodies with a unique attitude.

Since childhood, Kevin Sohn was attracted to music; He started with the piano to play works by Mozart, Beethoven, Debussy, among others. Later, he formed the band FRISBEE, a quartet dedicated to rock and rhythm & blues influenced by the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. A couple
of years later, when he decides to explore different keyboards, such as organs and synthesizers, he discovers electronic music. Together with Lucas Mazzei and Alan Diaco they form DKL,
a House and Techno electronic music project, specialized in improvised live performances with an extensive instrumentation composed of synthesizers, samplers and rhythm machines.
DKL performed in several places such as Niceto Club, La Capilla, Avant Garten, La Casa del Bicentenario and Centro Cultural Kirchner.
In 2016 he became the second keyboardist of “Ecos” Pink Floyd’s tribute band, where he took his fanaticism and knowledge about the band even deeper. He made presentations at the Planetarium, the Wateke Festival and the Marquee.
Now, Kevin released his new album "Cosmic Cocktail"
by Pencilboy Records, a solo project in which he experiments with Funk and Disco; with the groove of House music.
