I'm a producer, composer, arranger, mixer, and multi-instrumentalist with a dark/indie/cinematic aesthetic. Having also worked in film, I like to create music that is surprising, off-kilter, rich with sound design, unsuspecting structures and unique harmonies. I've played the drums and piano since I was a kid both of which inform everything I do!

I've been playing drums for 34 years since before I could speak and travelled the world touring in indie bands. Although my original background is rock, when I was a teenager I started studying Jazz drumming under the late jazz drummer Sebastian Whittaker. I'm largely influenced by not only jazz and rock but also funk, soul, afrobeat, latin, country, and folk. My sound is often described as some mix of jazz/funk with post-rock thrown in for good measure. I play with lots of feeling and groove and can bring a lot of life to an otherwise standard rock/pop beat.

I also produce/record/compose and play various other instruments, mainly piano/synths, cello (learning), guitar, and bass. I'm excellent at taking a song idea, even the roughest demo, and bringing it to life through rhythm, instrumentation, and mixing.

I also score for film/tv/commercials. HMU!
