Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Contemporary Christian, Gospel, Pop, Acoustic Pop.

A: Songwriting and production
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Artist sensibilities. As a singer, my perspective is always driven by how the song will be delivered by the featured vocalist.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I am usually inspired to create music first - with the melody and chord progression coming at the outset of the songwriting process, followed by the crafting of the lyric.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: The list is long from original heroes like Quincy Jones, Maurice White, Nile Rodgers and Stevie Wonder to the hitmakers of the 80s and 90s such as Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, L.A. Reid & Babyface, Teddy Riley, Leon Sylvers III, Trevor Horn, etc.; to modern hitmakers like Mark Ronson, Bruno Mars, Max Martin, Ryan Tedder, Greg Kurstin, Greg Wells, and others.

A: Know where you want to go before setting off on your journey.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: The Red Room is my studio in Murfreesboro, TN (35 miles outside of Nashville) designed to maximize the highest sonic qualities with custom sound treatment from GIK. I use Logic Pro X as my DAW, with a full assortment of soft synths including Spectrasonics Omnisphere and Trilian, full complement of Waves plugins, Focal monitors, Neumann, Telefunken, Shure and other pro microphones, variety of headphones, electric and acoustic guitars and bass including PRS, Fender, and Martin, Roland amplifier.
