Interview with The Darklab

What do you like most about your job?
What is not to like about Art and Freedom rhetorically speaking?
Analog or digital and why?
Absolutely both worlds and depending on the client's musical taste, needs and budget.
If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
Without a doubt it'd be a Macbook Pro with a few DAW's and plugins, a portable interface, a midi keyboard, an electric guitar, and last and not least, a large diaphragm condenser mic.
Can you share one music production tip?
Regardless of what signal chain, rig or piece of gear you use, never forget to track a clean DI signal into your Digital Audio Workstation or Tape Recorder.
Tell us about your studio setup.
