Ruben provided numerous backing tracks, playing conga, caxixi, cow bell, ride cymbals and kick drum to a difficult arrangement of Giant Steps, recorded in multiple meters with no click track. I applaud him for his patience, fortitude, & musical talent He came up with many textures to make the track extra special. We communicated well. His sounds are clean & proficient, steady & creative. He also provided rolls & hits so I could fill, change were needed. I hope to work with him again!
