DAWgeek is a pseudonym. Devansh Bhatia is a young Music Producer, multi-instrumentalist from Mumbai, India. A big time DIY believer and is capable of handling complete music productions by himself. In mid-2014, he began uploading videos to his YouTube channel where he collaborates with artists and comes up with his own renditions of popular songs apart from his original compositions and ideas. His style vastly differs with every project he undertakes showcasing his versatility and comfort with different genres. Having experimented with most of the genres, his sound is very fresh and distinct.

He also is a certified Sound Engineer. As his alias suggests, he's a geek of the DAWs. Ableton Live, Logic Pro, FL Studio, Pro Tools, Cubase, etc. You name it, he knows it. He plays the acoustic guitar, piano and many other instruments. His love for blending technology with music adds up to his controllerism skills on Electronic Instruments.

Apart from making YouTube music videos, he produces music for well known artists in Bollywood, songs for Movies, Ad Jingles, TVCs and also performs electronic music live with his bands in clubs like Alibii, Royalty and more.

I love the way Music making takes me to another world. It's a satisfying experience.
What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
Since most people aren't familiar with how Music Production works, it's a shady place to be.
What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
Make sure you know what you exactly want in the track you're about to hire a Music Producer for. It's much easier to deliver quality stuff that way.
If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A Macbook Pro, full size MIDI controller, Apogee Duet, a good mic and an APC40 mk2.
What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
I started doing Music 3 years ago.
What type of music do you usually work on?
I love doing electronic music. The idea of blending technology with music excites me.
What's your strongest skill?
Adapting to something with ease.
What do you bring to a song?
A distinct feel. Sounds that are unusual yet beautiful. I can also dive into a style of music and make it sound like its coming from its source of origin.
What's your typical work process?
My approach for each project is different depending upon what the track needs from me.
Tell us about your studio setup.
I have a home setup where I work from and I'm pretty portable too. I can make music on the move too.

It's a long list of people varying from the biggest names in the Top Billboard Charts to the underground Music Producers making genuis tunes from their bedroom studios.
