DAWgeek is a geeky Record Producer, DJ, songwriter, mixing engineer and a multi-instrumentalist from Mumbai, India. Having experimented with most of the genres, his sound remains fresh and distinct showcasing versatility in his music-making techniques making him an artist that's equipped with all skills in 1.

Mid-2014 saw the inception of his now flourishing career when he started uploading his work on YouTube, gaining popularity with his remix/covers of International Pop hits and Bollywood songs blended with Electronic Music. On the leap day of the leap year 2016, he released his debut original track Fly Away, followed by The Wait & Pickle Spot. The following year became a milestone year when DAWgeek got the opportunity to produce Tutari (DAWgeek Remix) composed and sung by the legendary Shankar Mahadevan for the Ganpati Festival. DAWgeek’s musical drive carried on even in the pandemic year 2020, where he collaborated with bollywood's renowned actor Siddhant Chaturvedi (MC Sher in Gully Boy) for a lockdown song called Dhoop that brought a beam of hope for the listeners and rays of praises for the duo. This man of many talents also performs live music in the form of solo DJ Sets as well as a part of various artist collectives for popular events and festivals.   4. A: I love the way Music making takes me to another world. It's a satisfying experience.

  6. A: Since most people aren't familiar with how Music Production works, it's a shady place to be.

  7. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  8. A: Make sure you know what you exactly want in the track you're about to hire a Music Producer for. It's much easier to deliver quality stuff that way.

  9. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  10. A: A Macbook Pro, full size MIDI controller, Apogee Duet, a good mic and an APC40 mk2.

  11. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  12. A: I started doing Music 3 years ago.

  13. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  14. A: I love doing electronic music. The idea of blending technology with music excites me.

  16. A: Adapting to something with ease.

  17. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  18. A: A distinct feel. Sounds that are unusual yet beautiful. I can also dive into a style of music and make it sound like its coming from its source of origin.

  20. A: My approach for each project is different depending upon what the track needs from me.

  21. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  22. A: I have a home setup where I work from and I'm pretty portable too. I can make music on the move too.

  24. A: It's a long list of people varying from the biggest names in the Top Billboard Charts to the underground Music Producers making genuis tunes from their bedroom studios.

  26. A: Music Production is my forte. I'm very flexible when it comes to producing different genres and styles of music.
