  6. A: I always advise to talk to better understand the type of project.

  7. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  8. A: At the age of 14 starts his study of the electric bass guitar and music theory, and at 22 obtains a diploma in harmony and theory from Percentomusica music institute in Rome, Italy. In 2005 studies music composition for big band with the master composer Andrea Avena, while contemporarily dedicated to the study of the big bass. In the following year achieves relevant work experiences, including becoming member of the band Altrocanto, an Italian composition of folk and authorial rock, and founding the jazz band Trio Bluff Groove, with whom he performs at prestigious festivals such as Umbria Jazz, Viterbo Jazz and Ronciglione Jazz. Francesco now lives in Alicante, working on many music and television productions and collaborating with several artists from any part of the Spanish peninsula, such as Funambulista, Georgina, Orjazzmic, Hermanas Butistas, Max Sunyer. I've been working on music for more than 20 years.

  9. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  10. A: Stewe Wonder, because it's my idol.

  11. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  12. A: Try to have a global vision of the production, rest what is needed so that later you can see it better all.

  13. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  14. A: Pop, Spanish Pop, Funk/Soul

  15. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  16. A: A great knowledge of modern harmony and total groove control.

  17. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  18. A: Movement, groove, energy or melody according to my interpretation.

  19. Q: What's your typical work process?

  20. A: I study the musical theme to memorize it, I start to look for all the variants and then I select. I record the first bass line .. second, third .. according to the inspiration. I usually do different lines and rest a couple of hours. Then I listen to them and select two bass lines, which I like.

  21. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  22. A: I work usually with logic x, Avalon u5 connected to an Apogee duet sound card. I use Universal Audio plugin to compress the bass lines. Depending on the requirements I sometimes use Markbass for reamp with micro Shure beta 52 A

  23. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  24. A: My inspiration comes from black music in general like Stewe Wonder or Ray Charles. I am currently involved in many Spanish pop projects. Music inspires me and makes me evolve constantly.

  25. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  26. A: I am specialized in recording electric bass , I am a perfectionist in any project involved.

  28. A: Pop/Soul/Funk/Fusion
