2012 on Intua Beat Maker? 2004 on FL Studio? More so 2015 when one of my many inspirations was born. A chain of life events happen that really inspired me and music just grabbed me.

Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I actually have a love for it. Not just going to a job for a check. Even though pay is necessary. ;-)
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Song writing (music production) for hip hop and r&b. So beat making, melody, arrangement and mixing.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, chasing that perfect analog sound until I can afford to do analog the way I'd prefer.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: If I can't do it Ill help you find someone better no additional cost!...
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: How are you? Hows life? Where you from? What are the top 3 things you feel people should know about you? What are you expectations of your music and me?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Most importantly these are our dreams we're entrusting in each others hands through collaboration. I take pride in my work and constantly finding new ways to improve and just as well I'm open to criticism. Always eager to work and willing to travel anywhere 50-75 mile radius of Los Angeles.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Macbook Pro, Maschine Mikro, Akai Mini Key, scarlett solo and audio technica head phones. Simple.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My initial career path was in health care as a Surgical Technologist (Surgical Nurse) hence where part of my name comes from (Slyce).
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Some Lo-Fi / Fresh Ambient / Soul / influenced by the 90’s Fun Hop and R&B.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Chance, Cool Kids, Vic Mensa on some Chi town shit. Logic, School Boy Q, YBN Cordae, Pac Div, Dom, Jay Elec., Staley, Curren$y, Juicy J/DJ Paul/Pat (Three 6), Big Sean are a few artist I dig and I think would compliment my sound but Id work with anybody!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Set your auto saves and backups!!!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Hip Hop, R&B and most things electronic.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Ran from my Mac I typically craft my arrangements in Maschine stand alone and mix in Logic Pro X and using Maschine as a VST in Logic or Ableton from time to time. Mixing with iZotope and Logic Stock.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Im a Native Instruments Stan, lol... Maschine MK2, Komplete Kontrol S25, Maschine Jam, Akai Synthstation 49, and Maschine Mikro and Akai LPK 25 for travel. Focusrite AI's. Always been a bit of a pad enthusiast.

A: Music Production, Beat Making, Arrangement, Song writing (melody), and Mixing.

A: Hard drum arrangements with awe inspiring sounds. I take music places most people rarely think to go!
