Mixing and recording engineer based out of Los Angeles, California. Specializing in rock, indie, punk, and hard rock, however, from my major commercial studio experience, I've become familiar and experienced in every genre one can think of. I've worked on projects of every level including unsigned, indie, and major labels.
Born in Redondo Beach, CA and raised in Northwest Florida, Kyle realized his then unknown passion for audio engineering when his small-town pop-punk band went to Atlanta, GA to record at Monster Zero Studios with Joe King from The Queers. In awe of the entire recording process, Kyle quickly realized he was on the wrong side of the studio process.
He made his way back to California in 2011 after completing audio school, and started work at Westlake Recording Studios in December of 2011. In his two years there, he worked his way to Pro Tools Technician and Assistant Engineer. In late 2013, Kyle left Westlake and joined the team at NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood. At NRG Kyle began his real studio education, working and learning under some of the biggest engineers and producers in the world. Currently, Kyle is a staff engineer at NRG Recording and a freelance producer, engineer, and mixer. Having credited releases under Metal Blade Records, A-F Records, Uncle M Music, Nuclear Blast, and Wiretap Records, Kyle is comfortable working with artists at any stage of their career.
A firm believer in capturing the raw emotion behind a song, Kyle puts this above all else. Half studio perfectionist, half punk rock naturalist, he marries the two while never losing focus on the only thing that matters. The music.
