Edwrds can not be contained by one genre or emotion. He wants his music to have a voice for the people who are too afraid to show it. He specializes in lyrical storytelling, and freestyling. After SXSW, this singer, songwriter, rapper and producer was motivated to open up his home studio to ALL and share his unique approach to the process.
My name is Jake but my artist name is Edwrds. I started out as a competitive dancer and always had a love for music and performing. Knowing how to be in the pocket really gives me an advantage.
I've had the privilege to learn and work with many talented singers and producers since I decided to pursue music full time. I write, sing, rap and produce. Having the equipment to record my own vocals and edit them has provided me with the ability to learn and have a really quick turn around time in my home studio. I have been fortunate to have worked with many independent artists over the past five years and most recently co-wrote a song with the lovely Jenna Rose.
I wrote every song and co-produced my album "Angels and Heartbreakers" as well as my EP "Bipolar Mind-Set". My newest project "Water, Volume I", I produced and engineered myself.
