    A true musical genius!!!
My third time working with him, and wow, He is just about the most talented musician I have ever met. He not only will produce whatever elements in modern music you can think of, but will also give your song style, such that can compete in todays market. Truly a blessing from God for me to be able to work with him continuously. I will definitely keep working with him!

Hidden Gem! Obviously Trained, Skilled and Talented Musician! I feel very blessed to have found him amongst much much more expensive options!
I had paid to have my song mixed and mastered. He did much more and did not ask for a penny more! Besides mixing my song, He shared insight of what the song needed and was willing to add instrumental to it!
He worked very hard in a short period of time, And I couldn’t be more happier with the final product!!

Interview with Quiva Music

  1. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  2. A: Rode NT2 A microphone. Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 soundcard M audio Oxygen 41 midi controller Behringer HPM 1000 headset A Laptop with my DAW and plugins installed on it.

  3. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  4. A: First, I bring life to a song. I make the song breathe through careful production technique, perfect song structure, amazing, creative and detailed instrumentals, clean recordings and a perfect punchy mix and master for a top 40 commercial chart.

  5. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  6. A: Usually they say, " I love your samples, can you also produce my song to sound this good? And my response is a capital Yes...

  7. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  8. A: I've been a musician for about 20 years and moving into Production about 4 years ago.

  9. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  10. A: Rock, Rhythms and Blues, EDM, trap, Gospel, Singer-Singwriter, Pop and Afro Pop.

  11. Q: What's your typical work process?

  12. A: Typically, i get the framework of the song from my clients, it can be a rough idea or a voice note, lyrics etc..... After getting the framework,i try to understand and as well interpret the music considering various factors which includes the content/message of the song, the genre, the marketable demands, technical know how, the clients vocal style and preference etc.... With this, i begin to form the song structure, making suitable arrangements as i pay attention to every necessary detail. Once I'm done understanding and interpreting the song with a clear cut song structure, I start the creation process where i bring in all the musical instruments essential to the style of music we're working on. Once we have the instrumental music for the song, I'd send the instrumental file to the Vocalist or Client for review, rehearsal and recording. Once this is done and the vocals has been recorded, the client will send the vocal track to me which i will add back to the music, I'd then mix and master the song professionally to a radio quality commercial track. All through the production process, i take my time in listening to my client to achieve what they have in mind and to possible help them to achieve more than they've ever dreamed with their song. I deliver the final production in wave and mp3 format. I can also send the instrumental track or the mix stems if required. You'd have 5 reviews for free and other reviews will cost $15 per review.

  13. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  14. A: My studio is set in a nice room with added acoustic treatment to enable a pure and genuine flow of sound. 15. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  16. A: Aubrey Whitfield is such an inspiration to me, she has amazing production technique and has been successful in her career. More so, she is always willing to share her ideas and techniques. Also, Ambassador Wole Oni, Yamaha artist in Nigeria, is also a great inspiration. He has pursued and manifested a high level of Musicianship and excellence over the years. Excellence characterizes his productions.

  17. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  18. A: The most common type of work i do for my clients is a full song Production in the genre of Rock, R and B, Trap, Gospel, Raggae, and Afropop. More usual that often, many of them after hearing my previous mix usually demand that i mix and master their song for them.

  19. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  20. A: There was a time, a client wanted me to produce her song(off soundbetter). She's only good at writing with no knowledge of music. She does not understand melody, harmony, time etc yet she's almost unwilling to accept my ideas. Somehow i convinced her enough and she allowed me interpret the song Professionally. Once we were done with the project, she sent me a message and told me how much she loved the song. She also said i was God sent... Why I'm so proud of this project is that she only had good lyrics but i was able to produce amazing music from the lyrics, something she eventually became so proud of.

  21. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  22. A: I'm presently producing a soft rock song for a client off Soundbetter. Its a nice song and I'm almost done with the tracking of the needed instruments.

  23. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  24. A: Yes. His name is Christopher Galovan

  25. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  26. A: Digital..... For a younger generation like me, we often prefer Digital. Without controversy, it makes production a lot easier. Edit and review is so easy compared to Analog.

  27. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  28. A: With a full assurance, i can guarantee my client that I'd deliver a good job, set for radio play and every form of commercial purpose. I pursue excellence with all of me and i can guarantee you that in my productions.

  29. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  30. A: One of the things i love most about my work is that it is a always a joyful and creative adventure. It is not boring. I don't have to subject myself to a boring routine. Also, it helps me to engage with different culture. I remember the first time i produced for a client from China though I've never been there(we met online). It was a typical Chinese song such that i had to go online to study about their Music and a bit of their language. The project was such a success and the Client keeps coming ever since.

  31. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  32. A: The biggest misconception is to see a musically untrained and inexperienced client, telling you what's best for the song without trying to listen or yield to your professional advice.

  33. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  34. A: I often ask them, " Do you have an idea of what you want, even if its faint? "

  35. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  36. A: I'd advice any potential customers to be open to creative and essential ideas. I'm a Professional in my field and i'm creative. I know whats going on in the music world and the music market at large. So if a customer wants to hire me, i must prepare your mind that i would advise you based on all the factors i mentioned above in actualizing the best interest of the song.

  37. Q: How would you describe your style?

  38. A: I've enjoyed producing different style so it might be hard to tell a particular style but based on Preference, I'd say its Rock and Pop.

  39. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  40. A: Alicia Keys, I lover her style and sound.

  41. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  42. A: The first step to achieve a good mix is to have a good recording. Use a good mic and a good vocalist. Doing this will kick start a good mix. A good mix doesn't start at the middle of a production process, it starts from the very beginning.

  43. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  44. A: My strongest skill is producing, bring all that matters to the Music and making it a final product.
