My partner and I have been playing Violin, Viola and Cello for over 20 years and have worked in may styles of music including urban, country, jazz, bluegrass and rock.

My partner and I play Violin, Viola and Cello. We generally receive tracks in which we arrange and record the entire string section and deliver the separated stems as requested. This allows the producer/writer to arrange the strings as they see fit. If you're looking for real strings and find a 50-100 piece string is cost prohibitive, our section work sounds better than any synth or sample.

First, we evaluate the track to estimate how much work each track takes. It takes us 1-2 days to score. Next, we begin the recording process. Considering we sometimes record as many as 140 individual tracks, we average about 30 seconds of material a day. After the recording you will receive a 2 track mix to check. Once you green light the work, we spend 1 more day preparing the session as you like. Usually we send stereo stems of each section individually (which for us averages 10 stereo stems) because our work takes no less than 80 tracks. You can receive them that way if you wish but we can accommodate any request.
