Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Cory Clark (credits: Katharine McPhee, Paramount Pictures, and Universal Music Group) has done amazing work a song that the artist Johnaé Elease and I worked with. His guitar composition and communication is great! High recommend him
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: I have contributed to projects in both film and music, so some people don't understand the different roles I take. People know that I am a "sound guy", but don't know that I usually do post-production work than on production shoots.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skills are my ears. I listen for details and mix according.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I helped create songs that fulfill the artists stories.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Let me know what you want done for your projects specifically. For example, if we want to mix a song, hit me up and send me the tracks you want mixed. I will give you a sample of what I've done at no charge and then we can move forward. I hope to work with you and make your music or multimedia projects sound amazing!
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The last project I completed that I was proud to complete was a song from Johnaé Elease and I was responsible for recording, mixing and mastering it. We had so much fun.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: My promise to my clients is I will always be honest with them since building trust is important for all of us to be successful.

A: How soon so do you need your songs or album mixed to give me enough time to make it finished professionally.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am mixing and mastering songs for an artist named Johnaé Elease that has powerful lyrics. I also ended up contributing to the album art work and video promos too.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I would advise customers to ask a provider like myself what is their music style and I'd ask them to show examples of those projects so you can find out if my services is right for them.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I typically work on alternative, folk, acoustic, Jazz/Soul, and rock music.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: For my hardware, I currently have a stereo JBL studio monitoring setup with two computer monitors, Mac Pro computer, an ART Tube Dual Pre audio interface (for recording) and an M-Audio FireWire 410, MXL V67G condenser mic, Launchkey midi keyboard, Sennheiser 380 Pro and more. For my software, I've worked with the following programs: Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, and Ozone 8.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: I like using my creativity to being able to help people by bring their ideas to life.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be sure to gather documented information from your clients expectations of what the project will need in detail from pre-production to the final export.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: From Rock bands like Jimi Hendrix and Cat Stevens to bands like John Mayer, RED, Rancid, Hoobastank, WALK THE MOON, have inspired my experiences of how I like to make songs.

A: I've done post-production audio work for film projects to recording, mixing and mastering for musicians.
