One of the most sought after and accomplished guitar players from India
Hello,
I'm Josh from Chennai, India and I have been playing the guitar for the last 20 years.
After being a guitar instructor for over 11 years I now gig full time as a stage and studio guitarist in and around Chennai which is the home of South Indian Film music. I have been gigging live with some of the country's biggest rock bands such as Moksha, Garage Monsters Inc, Junkyard Groove and many more. I'm also a regular first call studio guitar player for some of India's leading music composers such as Yuvan Shankar Raja, Harris Jayaraj, AR Rahman, Anirudh.R, G.V Prakash to name a few.
I am hugely influenced by bands such as Extreme, Mr.Big, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Europe, Van Halen, Dream Theater, Guns N Roses, Pink Floyd and some of my favourite guitar players are Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Nuno Bettencourt, Ritchie Blackmore, David Gilmour, Andy Timmons, Kee Marcello and many more.
As you might be able to tell, I'm a rock guitarist at heart but I love Blues, Funk, RnB, Soul and will do my best to deliver what you require.
I offer you electric and acoustic guitar tracks for your compositions, songs or jingles.
I can add rhythm/lead guitar parts on electric or acoustic guitars, finger style or picked arpeggios, lead guitar solos and fills, etc.
Thanks for reading my profile, I'm looking forward to being a part of your musical journey!
I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

A: My experience, little bits of music that I've collected over the years. My soul
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I listen to the song several times and try to 'hear' what I can contribute as a guitar player. I then start to 'jam' on the track and have some fun with it. It most cases this is where I come up with 80% of the stuff which I record in the final take. I usually record solos and leads last of all after I've gotten a sold feel for the song.
