Luciana is an enormously talented and creative artist. She is also one of the sweetest and most easy going individuals I've ever worked with. It was an absolute pleasure working with her on the project and I look forward to the next one!

Luciana is a fantastic singer and songwriter, she came with a gem of a pop song for me to remix!
Interview with Luciana
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Songwriting and melody writing. A lot of the work I receive will be a beat or an instrumental and usually has a great start, and they just need that little push to get the ball moving with getting their lyrics out and making it catchy and creating a melody that is attention grabbing for their song.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I am deeply inspired by artist like: Tayla Prax, Kiana Ledé, Bazzi, Ariana Grande, Post Malone, DaniLeigh, Victoria Monet, Bebe Rexah, Lizzo, Khalid, H.E.R., SZA, Sade, Sabrina Claudio, Halsey, Kehlani, and so many more! I find a lot of my inspiration within these artist and really push myself to gravitate towards those types of sounds.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have perfected my private studio set up over the years, currently I have a digital production studio, with a key board, two monitors, I have a RODE mic I capture all my vocals, and on I use softwares such as protools and Ableton. It's very simple but really helps me create quickly and genuinely.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Depending on the project I usually start with the music, I tend to find myself gravitated towards letting the music tell me what it wants to say. After I have a least a solid beat or loop down, I go ahead and turn my mic on and let myself just hum, sing, or even mumble melodies I hear. Then from there if words come out great, but I usually will take that to the next level and start to song write!
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring a lot, but at the end of the day, I bring that contagious energy to any song. I make sure it is catchy for the listener to be able to remember and sing along too. Wether if that is songwriting, producing, or singing...I guarantee that the end product will be stuck in your head and everyones else's, including my own.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I cant say I have one, I am a singer, songwriter, and producer and all three I have perfected and still am perfecting. I definitely have been singing longer than songwriting and producing but, at the same time those skills have easily risen to the occasion and met the same bar as my singing skills!
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Mainly Pop / R&B, but quite honestly all kinds. If you need a country song...
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: best advice I got as I've been given, "Let the song breath...give the song breathing room."
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Ariana Grande, hands down. Her team I am obsessed with too, and how they create. It is literally goals as far as a creative and music team.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Pop, R&B, Dance, Hip Hop
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I have been in the industry professionally since I was 13 years old; singing, songwriting, and producing.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My laptop, Trigger pad, Piano/key board, and my mic.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I think the best advice for new connections and collaborations is to be open, but at the same time know what you want. I have struggled even with my own career working with new people since I am used to doing it all myself, that I have had to learn to be open to advice, ideas, and constructive criticism, while at the same being able to still keep in mind my original goals and ideas for those projects. When you are open, new opportunities present themselves and new ideas will thrive.
