My name is Alma and I've been professionally recording music since I was 18. I started my career as a member of Iceland’s biggest girl group. I specialize in Toplines, Lyrics & Vocals and my strengths are Pop, rhythmic pop & EDM. I can write a full song to your track, record a demo of a song you have written or help you develop an idea you may have. I write radio-ready songs with catchy hooks and my vocal can be used for release if negotiated. I respond quickly and take directions easily!
How It Works:

- You send me the track you want me to write to, BPM and Key.
- If you need a demo of a song you’ve already written you send me the lyrics.
- I will send you an mp3 for you to approve.
- First two revisions are free and any additional revisions after that are $100 each.
- Once approved and funds are released, I will send you the files.
- My turnaround time is usually pretty fast but If you need something ASAP there will be expedited pricing.
- I always maintain my portion of publishing on songs that I write and a % of the master on songs I sing on.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I always aim to deliver the best song possible, take direction easily and will always communicate with you throughout the work process.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It's creative and rewarding. There's nothing better than seeing a good song come to life. I couldn't see myself doing anything else.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: The better idea you have of what you're looking for the happier you will be with the outcome. It's always better to have a direction for your project before you hire someone to work on it.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I write pop music in general, mainstream, electronic, indie, urban.. you name it.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is definitely writing good and catchy choruses. That's the most important thing to me. I'm also good at developing concept ideas and tying ideas together in songs.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I love my home studio setup where I work from. I have the latest MacBook Pro, LogicX, Duet by Apogee, RØDE NT1-A microphone, Yamaha HS8 W 8-Inch Powered Studio Monitor Speakers and a full size Yamaha keyboard.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: I usually write topline on tracks that my clients send me. Sometimes they may have the concept idea already, if not I come up with a title and concept I think suits the track. I always start by writing a catchy chorus and then build the verses and pre around that. I'm very open to changes and can quickly adjust the song to my clients needs.
