Hi. My name is Christian Welde. I started composing / producing electronic music in 1998, when a friend brought home a copy of ACID Music and sparked what would become my greatest passion in life, I'm a composer, producer, emcee, DJ, mixing-, mastering- and live engineer.
An intentional focus on mixing- and mastering was set in motion in 2012, as an inevitable study to improve upon my own music. And as a result, I started getting requests to work for other people in my extended network. I love the process of bringing a song to life and into its fullest potential, and even more so the process of putting an album together.
I'm offering instrumentals, production, recording, mixing and mastering at reasonable prices. I have an appreciation for dynamic sound, warmth, clarity, and of course I love to add some special spices to further bring out the flavor of the music. I also like to think that my background as an artist helps me to better understand the needs of my clients.
My philosophy is that everyone should do what they love doing in order to reach their highest potential, and my intention is constant improvement and exploration. My focus in music is on the sound, the energy, the craft and the co-creational process of making good music.

A: Composition, Production and Mixing
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I like to think I bring clarity / enhancement and soul. Music is something alive, and I want to keep it that way. I like to keep dynamic range while simultaneously pushing the envelope. It depends upon the style ofcourse, but in general my goal is to take the original idea of a track and enhance it.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: When it comes to mixing, I usually start with a listening session to gett the feel of the song, and to figure out what the main focus/elements are. I then start sculpting everything around the focal element, creating a nice, rich balance and ensuring organic blend of all elements.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mostly it's production, mixing and mastering, and often I'll do an instrumental for a track.
